Resident · 2016 - 2017
My husband and moved here in December 2016. I like to take my time to live somewhere foe a few months before writing a review. I think 6mths plus is enough time to give an opinion. I would recommend living. So far we are content. There are ups and downs, just like anywhere you move. We really enjoy how quiet it is and that we feel comfortable taking our child to the park or on a walk, with no worries. Our neighbors so far are clean and quiet, which to us is extremely important! The apartments are older so we don't expect them to be perfect. However, one thing that really bothered us from the moment we moved is that our carpets weren't replaced before move in and the people before us had multiple animals. That's disgusting!!! We have a dog ourselves and he has very short hair and he is taken to the groomers once a month, but he still has dander and shedding. Whoever lived here before obviously had a very long hair dog(s) or cat(s)!! We found long black and white animal hairs all over the floors when we moved in, which means they didn't clean the floors very well if at all! Our dog is brown so it's definitely not his. We were also told that there was a breed restriction but that's obviously not the case when I see pit bulls and numerous mixed breeds of some kind all over the complex. We really don't care what breed a dog is but if we pay a $300 deposit for our dog on top of paying $25 extra on our rent a month to keep him here I expect everyone else to do the same thing! $885 a month is a little steep for an apartment of this age!! Other than the pet issues we have no major complaints. Office staff are nice for the most part, maintenance is nothing to brag about because nothing is ever any emergency or even important unless we call several times about our issues; when they finally do the job it's done right. Over all we are okay living for another year and a half until we are done building. Hopefully, this is helpful to any future residents and management.
