Apartments are dated, maitenence barges in without knocking, rent was cheap(ish) for Plainfield but the new owners are raising it a lot higher Me and a roommate signed a 12 month lease for a 2 bed 2 bath with Stafford point. We were excellent renters, we never had a late payment or any complaints from any of our neighbors. When the last day of our lease came I returned the Keyes to the office and left our appartment clean and empty it looked as new as the day we moved in. I thought that would be the end but no Stafford point decided they were entitled to an extra months rent at a new higher rate and utilities for an empty apartment that I didn't even have keys to. They said this was because we did not give them a 30 day written notice of when we were moving out. Even though it doesn't state this in my copy of the lease. Stafford point is shady and should be avoided like the plague
