I am a graduate student at Notre Dame and have been living here at Georgetown for almost a year. Saying I love it here would be an understatement. I love having a washer/dryer IN the apartment, the kitchen is very spacious with NEW appliances, have a great porch and ceiling fan to let cool air in during summer too. The area is very quiet too, which is nice for being a student. I have never had any issues with anyone at the office or maintenance guys. I got locked in (yes, in, not out) my apartment (the bolt locked inside the door) on a Sunday and someone was there in 20 minutes flat! A review below mentioned a few things like the garages; the garage is great! Very big, enough for extra furniture and my car! I also sprung $80 for a garage door opener and was a good investment. The reviews below also go into detail about the electric bill. I live in a two bedroom alone, do laundry at least twice a week and occasionally leave some lights on. During the summer, my bill is around $40-60 (depending on if I turn the air on) and in the winter, around $150 (I keep the heat at 68 degrees). I think that is fair, especially because it balances out over the year. I would definitely recommend this community to any one. Oh, and they have a new work out room (open 24 hours), a pool in the summer, tennis courts and a huge jungle gym for kids! GREAT area! The one negative thing I will say is that the roads need to be re-done.
