I get a kick reading some of these reviews. I lived at the GQ for two years in the late 90's while I was going to school. I had a studio on Linwood Court, second floor, paid $345 per month. I have to say the apartment wasn't bad, but you definitely get what you pay for. The only time I needed maintenance was when the AC broke one summer and they had to fix it. They did that within 24 hours. However where the unit went into the wall was drafty, and in the winter it could get quite cold. I have to say the drive to ISU every day was kind of long, but the area the GQ is located is pretty nice and bucolic...or at least it was in the '90s.
Concerning staff turnover: I lived in three really nice apartment complexes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area after leaving Indiana, and the turnover of staff at those places was just as bad. Face it, being a "leasing agent" is a low wage, low skill, high stress job.
Keep on rockin', Terre Haute!
