Resident 2015

4/16/2015

I moved signed my lease for one of the older apartments on 3/13/15. I moved in the following Saturday. The Thurdsday after, I get home from work to discover I have no power. The office had it shut off despite it being in my name. Food went bad and I had to tote my 4 year old to my mom's since we couldn't stay there without power. They refused to reimburse me for food that had to be replaced! Add to that the fact that when I went to pick up a key for my mailbox I was told this was handled by the post office for an additional $40. This was not disclosed prior to signing my lease. I left 2 messages with the property manager with my level of dissatisfaction and he still hadn't called me back after more than a week. The staff in the office are not at all understanding of my frustration and suggest I forward my mail to somebody else's house to avoid paying the fee. Um no! The rent is high as is and they expect me to sit back while they refuse to reimburse or admit wrongdoing. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone for the simple fact that the office staff are incompetent and unapologetic for mistakes they make.
