I stayed at Ananda Apartments (now owned and managed by Granite Management) for two years and I was very pleased with staying there. The town-home setting is nice and allows for plenty of space for the tenants. There is a basement with a washer and dryer that allows for plenty of storage (or a party room, or even an extra bedroom). There is wood flooring in the living room and kitchen that is easy to clean. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (one slightly larger than the other, with a larger closet). Overall, noise isn't a major problem, but I had the misfortune of staying next to a sorostitute who was rather loud when she broke up with her 23 boyfriends. (The other neighbors were very pleasant). Parking isn't a big problem for residents but there isn't very much visitor parking, especially if you throw a party. Construction seemed to be a perpetual project but they were quick about their business and showed interest in maintaining the grounds. The management ('Rusty' especially) is friendly and eager to process a request and send a repairman quickly. (My requests were answered and fixed within a day or two.) Overall, I would definitely recommend this complex to any Purdue student as it is also within walking distance to campus with a bus stop right outside as well. Great place to live!
