SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.
Not all communities use surveys and therefore may not have any survey information on their report card. These communities will show an "N/A" for their survey sections.

That is fantastic to hear! We love hearing the positives of living here at Hearth Hollow. We have put in energy efficient windows, updated the thermostats and meter boxes. Our staff works diligently to provide a good home for our residents. As with all of our residents, if ever you have any issues, please come visit with me directly so we may resolve them to your satisfaction.

I am sorry it took several attempts to repair your hot water issue. Sometimes we think something is fixed only to find out another issue has popped up. I understand your frustration with the situation, especially since having no hot water is not a fun thing to deal with! All of our packages are logged into the Hearth Hollow Resident Portal. I encourage you to sign up for this feature as it notifies you of packages and community news and events. It also allows you to pay rent on line, put in service requests, and privately message me with any issues or concerns you have. We look forward to making sure your experience is a more positive one!
I am so sorry to hear about your experience here at Hearth Hollow. Obviously we have dropped the ball and let you down. I apologize for that. I have also noticed the residents not picking up after their dogs. I recently received ideas from other managers on controlling this issue and will be implementing them shortly. Maintenance will take care of your refrigerator immediately, and I assure you we will get it repaired. Again, I apologize for your experience and look forward to changing your experience into a positive one!

We love hearing from our residents! We are very happy to hear you are enjoying your stay at Hearth Hollow! The maintenance team tries very hard to complete work orders as quickly as possible. The online portal is a great feature and we are pleased you are utilizing it!
I understand your frustration about the car break ins. I did some research and found that several apartment complexes had been targeted with car break ins and tire slashings. No community is immune from crime - it can happen anywhere, even in gated communities. I work closely with the Derby Police Department on any issues we encounter. We are addressing them together. Please remember to not leave valuables in your car to tempt potential thieves. The pool gate has been repaired, so only current residents will have access to the pool. I apologize for the delay in getting this fixed. We definitely want our pool to be an enjoyable experience. As far as smoke free buildings or apartments, Hearth Hollow does not have any of those. There are not any regulations on people who smoke. We are aware of the balcony and railing issues, and have received approval for their replacement. This will begin in July. We are very excited to get the older wood and siding replaced. We will also be painted after all the replacements happen. So Hearth Hollow is getting a new face lift this summer.
