I am a medical student and moved in to Rainbow Towers last summer thinking that the location would be a huge advantage. After living here I can honestly say that I would prefer commuting from my parents home 2 hours away from KU-Med than live at Rainbow Towers another day.

To start, the walls are paper thin and I can always hear my next door neighbor practicing his trombone at midnight right when I'm trying to sleep. I'd like to take a nap during the day since I can't sleep at night, but RT conveniently decided to do construction all day in the floor below me, so I couldn't nap even if I wanted to.

I was contemplating getting a pet but realized that wasn't necessary since I have about 10,000 pets in the pharoah ants that have infested my kitchen. Oh, and did I mention my smoke alarm doesn't work? Seems like a small thing now, but if RT had a fire, being on the 15th floor with no warning wouldn't exactly be the best situation for me, now would it?

The only good thing about the place is there are a couple of my fellow medical students living here with me that have to suffer through it with me. They are all moving out next year, as well. If you take one message from this rating leave with this: GET THE F__K OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
