...now I know the importance of researching & not going with the first place. For maintenance to fix problems they caused while in my apartment I was charged fees. But even getting them back into the apartment to fix them was a task. A noticed a roach problem half way through my lease, after contacting the office they didn't send an exterminator for a month. When that didn't take care of the problem it took 4 months for them to come over & bug bomb the place (after I bug bombed it myself, they said they had no paper showing my complaint)which did not take care of the problem. The ventilation system is attrocious and is grwoing black mold which they can not properly fix because it is an older apartment complex. My front window had a leak that I reported the first night I stayed there (thankfully it was raining), and again a month later, and again a month later, (etc.,) until 4 months before I was to move out they had it fixed. (Again saying they had no paperwork on my complaint.) I didn't get my deposit back & was even charged $20 for a $4 window blind that was broken when I moved in, along with other outrageous things.

Besides for being the bermuda triangle for paperwork, never getting them to fix things in a timely manner, rude employees who lie to your face I will say it was nice to have brand new carpet for a change. (Still scotchgaurded when I moved in)
