I got stuck in this dump for my last year of college because I was broke. Man, that was not worth the cheap rent. It started off poorly when the faulty wiring caused a couple of lights to short out. When the maintenence man came to fix it he wound up creating a surge that destroyed my roomates laptop and my big screen tv. They wouldn't pay for the items without receipts, so if you move in with a tv you bought 5 years ago make sure you still have the receipt or else you are pretty much s.o.l. Lesser complaints include the fact that it was very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter (I would sleep with long clothes in the winter). On the bright side for future residents they did install a new air conditioning unit in my apartment the month before I moved out. Of course they did this at 7:30 am without any notification. They scared the ---- out of me when they came into my room to wake me up and tell me they were doing construction. We also had a pipe leak in one of our closets, and when they got around to repairing a couple days after we reported it they didn't even replace the drywall they had to cut out to get to the leak. Later the pipes from the apartment above started leaking into our bathroom and it was the same deal, after they fixed the leak they didn't replace the ceiling so we had no ceiling for the last 5 months. My roomate and I were pretty clean and we still had a cockroach infestation, the management was rude and one final heads up: they will require to have your carpets professionally cleaned (you have to turn in a receipt) in order to get your deposit back. So if you get your full deposit back you will have had to spend 60% of it on the carpet cleaning, so don't count on that money. We got all $199 of our deposit back but the carpet cleaning cost $120, so even though the only damage in the place was created by their own maintenence crew we still only got $59 between the 2 of us back. The laundry facility isn't too bad, nothing special. You have to dry larger loads a couple times, but compared to the apartments its not bad. The pool is decent. The workout facility at Chase Court next door that you get access to is pretty crappy but what do you expect for free. If you want to live here, suit yourself. But I certainly did not find it to be worth the price.
