I'll start off by saying the only good thing about this place in my two years of living there was the secretary who came on in the last couple months. Her name is Sara. I left Autumn place over a year ago after having an absolutely horrible time with community, management and maintenance. Came in June of 2016 from Iowa to find a place to live before I started school, and put a deposit down for a one bedroom apartment at Autumn place. I was told the apartment I viewed (which was undergoing carpet replacement and other maintenance) would be ready by August 1st. On August 1st I arrive and receive keys to the same exact apartment in the same exact condition as I had seen in June - tools in the tub, no shower head, tools in the kitchen and garbage from the carpet replacement throughout. My dryer was broken for over 6 months with countless inquiries into maintenance and no response. Communication between management (which turned over three times while I was there) and secretaries was nonexistent (problems being fixed quickly by talking to the secretary only). I was convinced to resign a lease in 2017 when I was told management was giving out $100 gift cards - management turned over conveniently right after and the deal was not honored. I never received my deposit when I moved out in July of 2018. Went through school lawyers to attempt to get any sort of communication. Then, in September of 2019 I received a call from the secretary who let me know the deposit had been returned to home office. A full year and 3 months later? To top it off I never received an itemized list of damages and was given half my deposit back. This place is a mess. The community is sketchy and management is unreliable. Maintenance is nonexistent and no one makes any apology for any of these qualities.
