Since this review is written by 'Anonymous' we have not been able to work with this resident to address the issues that have been claimed. First and foremost, if there is anything needing attention with any of our units or with any of our tenants, we will address it as soon as possible IF it is brought to our attention. If we don't know about it, we can't fix it! Also, we don't bother our tenants every week just to see if everything is alright. We manage properties, not act as parents. As far as the other items mentioned, yes, we are improving the complex. I will admit the lawn is not that great behind a couple buildings, but we have had back to back years of heat and drought. Those building are the only ones without irrigation (we hope to install the irrigation this year. The rest of the lawn (97%) is nice and green. Just drive by and see for yourself. We haven't and never will claim for our gym to be spectacular like the KU rec. It is meant to be a convenient, safe, basic place to work out. The rent of $1060 was a promotional rate that we ran that year. The current rent as of 4/29/13 is $1140 which is only $285 per bedroom. That still is an incredible rate for such a nice, quiet, well located place to live. Overall, we are upfront and honest about who we are, what we offer, and what to expect. No lies, no deception. Thank you for your comment. We are a small locally owned complex with a couple of employees. As a result, I, the property manager am also part of the maintenance division. We have been extremely busy improving the facilities and so I am not always able to be in the office. However, if you need to talk to me, I am usually around the comple working and also always have my cell phone on me. I am more than happy to talk to anyone in person. We were unable to offer any other units as we only have 3 and 4 bedroom units and we were filled up by the time this person had asked for a smaller unit. Come visit us and you will find that we are up-front, honest, friendly, and professional. You won't find a apartment complex that cares more about its tenants.
As many will remember, this summer of 2012 was a hot one. It was tough to find a HVAC repair technician to come out immediately. We ended up having to order a specifically sized unit that took awhile to get here. I apologized to these tenants. As far as the deposit goes. I would not expect to get a deposit back when there has been an unregistered dog that is over the weight restriction living there for a year. The carpets were ruined as well as the unit was not cleaned when they left. Most of our tenants get 90+ percent of their deposit back. Come visit us and/or any of our current tenants and you will find there is nothing to be "cautious" about our townhomes.
This complaint is unfounded. We strive to create the best leasing experience for every tenant and respond to every question and concern that is brought to our attention.
We strive provide the best leasing experience possible for each our tenants. We have a professional management / owner staff which all have a vested interest in making this community a safe and secure place to live. We always work with our tenants to repair anything in their unit as quickly as possible. Our complex is monitored by a drive through security company to limit any noise than may be caused by parties. There are rarely parties that disturb other residents. The owner of Williams Pointe and LeannaMar does share the same last name as the man in this linked article. The person in the article does not have any business affiliation with this property. This accusation is completely untrue.
I agree with the first part of the review. The floorplan is great! As the property manager, I can honestly say the owner is not rude and would never cuss anyone out on the phone. We always interact with our tenants on a friendly professional manner. The internet is now with Knology. It is the exact same that everyone has access to.......with one exception......ours is free! Our maintenance staff will always respond as soon as possible to any issues. We hire a security company to drive through our complexes at minimum 3x per night. Since we initiated this, the amount / magnitude of parties has decreased dramatically. The parking lot has more than enough spaces for every tenant. We hire a professional landscape contractor for snow removal and salt application in winter. I do not recall the parking lot ever being in the condition referred to in this review. Please feel free to ask to meet our entire management staff when you visit. We know you will disagree with this anonymous reviewer.
We always have parking spots available at our complex. We will replace any appliances that are not performing to specifications. Our management staff meerly needs to be notified. Small pets are allowed in Leannamar.

We are not a party complex. We provide a clean, safe, atmosphere to live, study, and work in Lawrence.
