These apartments are cheap and have a very large kitchen and living room and the bedrooms are decent in size. The management and maintenance are awful! The ceiling in our bathroom has leaked 3 times now (I'm not just talking about a few drops either, we had to use pots to catch all the water) and they have yet to even check out the problem. The appliances are pretty old and you have to be careful which apartment building you are placed in. Ours is somewhat updated but my friend lives across the parking lot and she has disgusting carpet everywhere including her kitchen. The closet doors are also a huge inconvenience, they never seem to stay on! We also had a really bad spider problem during the summer so beware.
