West Hills Apartments

I live in a one bedroom and I absolutely love it! It is really big and the management allows residents to add their own creativeness to the apartment by painting. The first year that I lived here, they had numerous changes. The office staff changed monthly. I couldn't really get anything done to my apartment when I had a maintenance request. It seemed as if it somehow got lost in translation with all the new people going in and out. There were 2 girls who worked in the office, that constantly treated me like crap. They always said things that were really demeaning, then put their fake smile on their faces and sent me on my way, never really getting any answers. The maintenance man really sucked! He was loud, rude and always talked down to me, treating me like an idiot. There were lots of problems. Now, they finally have a staff that I recognize, because they have actually been here longer than a month, and they seem genuinely helpful with everything. They are really nice and make me feel like I am here for them, not the other way around. The new maintenance crew is great too! They are so quick and are the nicest guys ever. I loved my apartment before, but now, it just seems better because there are people who care more about making their residents happy, then throwing them by the way side. I feel that just in the past 6 months, they have definitely made up for past mistakes made by other people, and now I have decided to renew my lease for another year. I really do like the community here. Everyone seems to get along. Of course, you do have some neighbors that like to have an occasional party, but it doesn't get out of hand. Some things are worth celebrating, so why not? Parking has at times been an issue, but I have always been able to find a parking place. On game days, almost all the spots are full and it can be hard to find a place. But, the management takes care of it by towing anyone who does not show the parking permit. So they do stay on top of things. All in all, I found home for the few years that I'm here, and I'm finally proud of it!
