We moved into a 2 bedroom with the extra "library nook" last Oct. The extra space in the library nook is great for an office and makes the master feel so big. Well worth the extra money! I wish the rent was lower, on the high side for 2 bedrm apartments, but you pay for the quality here. Upgrades to make apartment living still luxurious, certainly NOT like when I was in college (Thank God).
We have really enjoyed being at Prairie Creek, even after downsizing from a home for 20 years. Prairie Creek keeps its landscaping up BEAUTIFULLY and the only complaint is the trash compactor area. It's just not big enough for all the apartments and the bags of garbage can pile up on the sidewalk. The recycle bin is in a strange place in a buildings parking space!! Why not have them together? But other than those 2 things, it is great!!
We have requested maintenance about 5 times, for simple things like light bulbs, oven lights, and they have been to our place within 24 hrs. Great for that! Staff is so helpful all the time and I use the office, computers and copier in the club house and they are really helpful!
We do hear our neighbors above but I think more so because they have a 2 year old who loves to run, bounce the ball, etc. That's the only thing we mind, but haven't complained as that is the nature of apartment living.
If you are reading this and are using Apartmentsearch.com make sure you tell them when you call that you found them on that website to get the $200. We told them upon application but wasn't soon enough I guess, didn't have it in writing so Prairie Creek said NO. Guess I learned on that one.
