The Pointe at City Center Apartments

I moved into the Dunes last year and it's been a pretty good place to live. I needed an apartment on short notice and they were able to get me in by the date I needed. At first the management didn't really seem that friendly but in October they changed management and it has made all the difference! They're all very friendly and will ask you about your day or will check with you about any issues you may have had. It's a very nice feeling walking in to the office occasionally and being greeted and recognized every time. The apartment itself is nice for me since I live on my own. My small complaint is that I can occasionally hear noises from the apartment above me, and that since they have been doing some work upstairs early in the morning it's not very fun waking up to someone banging on the floor when you're trying to sleep or work on projects. A little notification would have been nice about the work being done. I also really like that since the new management, utilities (with the exception of electricity) have been added to the rent so that's not another separate bill to worry about. Also I'd recommend the bigger 1 bedroom apartment (since all the apartments have washer/dryer hookups except the smallest 1 bedroom apartments) because I'm at the back of the building so to do laundry I have to walk all the way around the building due to no connecting path from the far back side of the building to the laundry room which is right around the corner. Also they have coin operated machines and there's no way to get quarters on site unless you cross the street to the McDonald's or Taco Bell and ask for change. But overall I have enjoyed living here for the past year and recommend it to anyone looking for quality affordable living in the Greater KC area.
