Resident 2010

7/21/2010

I have lived in Aggie Village since late January when I had to find a place to live after arriving to Ft. Riley. The VERY CLOSE location to all the restaurants and bars has been a lot of fun to experience without the hassle of dealing with cabs or the need to have a DD. It is a very easy 10-15 min drive to the Ogden Gate of Ft. Riley for any potential military occupants. The management has been great to me and are always helping with a smile. I have gotten ample notice as to when people would be entering my apartment to replace filters or do minor repairs. Everything in the apartment seemed to be new when I moved in and haven't had any problems with appliances. The laundry situation is probably the only thing I would say that is less than great. Some residents are not as prompt with removing their laundry as they should be and it is 1.50 for wash and 1.50 for dry. More washers and dryers would help eliminate some of the wait time for laundry. Depending on where your apartment is located some of the outside noise can be a bit loud but I would trade a little noise during the weekend for the convenience of walking downtown anyday. The apartments are also a bit pricey but you get what you pay for with the location and quality of living. Also for any potential military occupants if you were to be deployed while living here all you need to do is show management your deployment orders and give a 30 day notice and you are able to break your lease free and clear.
