Verified Resident 2018

Moving in was definitely way more of a hassle than it needed to be. No one ever informed me that I would need to set up an electrical account before moving in, despite the fact that I called the office multiple times to make sure that I was all set to move in. I also never received a lease agreement until arriving at the building on move in day, so that definitely slowed down the process as well. After setting up an electrical account and filling out all the paperwork for apartment F09, I was then told that I would no longer be able to move in to F09 because apparently it had flooded and no one had bothered to tell me before I did all the work to get ready to move in to it. I was then moved to apartment C08 and it was probably the most disgusting apartment I've ever seen. I was promised a cleaning crew would come through, and after waiting 4 days and asking multiple times about having my apartment cleaned, I decided it probably wasn't going to happen and I would just do it myself. Despite my best efforts to deep clean all this grime, there is some kind of sticky substance on the kitchen cabinets that will probably never come off. I also had to wait almost a week for someone to come fix the toilet even though I had been promised that would be fixed on the day I moved in. Overall, the entire process was a mess.
