I lived at UC for one semester. I did not have too many issues, but those that irritated me the most were the managers. I emailed, called, went to front office, and repeated those steps until I was finally able to speak to Michael. I was promised a call back time after time and repeated the above, again. Even when the managers were in and I could see and hear them, the guys up front denied mgmt was there. If you need something fixed, forget it. Do it yourself. The apartments were re-done and look a lot better, but that does not help with attitudes of the staff. I have looked for apartments online using apartment locators, Facebook, and word of mouth. Why are so many apartments in this complex up for subletting? I see the same format with each description as if the complex knows a ton of people are going to leave. The prices are different, with or without a roommate, and some have had to go so far as to paying for extra months just to get rid of the apartment. I do NOT recommend them. Walk a little more for the opportunity to have a better management experience. I also expected to have a roommate but did not. Also, those pictures online are the same throughout. No need to leave any. I have also had tenants tell me that they have returned keys and the front office sent a bill to the tenant b/c they were not returned. That would be all over the reviews.
