English Garden Townhomes
Resident • 2010 - 2011 Not Recommended
I have lived in several apartment communities, before moving into this one. I live here for a year never late on rent once. I signed my lease on August 6th 2010, so one would think lease would be up on August 5th of 2011. On June 27th I had a letter taped to the outside of my garage asking me if I wanted to renew my lease, I though about it and decided against renewing my lease because I needed something more cost efficient, So on July 4th I placed a typed letter in the drop box telling them I would not be renewing my lease. On July 7th I recieved one call from the office, then another call from Matt the maintance man, telling me to call Jennifer at the office about my lease. I then was told that because I didnt give them the 60day notice I would be forced to stay until September 6th and pay another months rent. IF I NEED TO LET YOU KNOW 60 DAYS AHEAD OF TIME GIVE ME THE OPTION TO RENEW 60 DAYS AHEAD OF TIME!!!!!!!!! Also, another thing kind of creepy, maintance man Matt felt the need to call me and leave me a message after Jennifer had already left a message on my phone earlier just to tell me to call her, I think this is uncalled for and unprofessional. As well when my AC was not working it took Matt 3 days to come look at it when he lives in the community. Would not recommend....
