We've lived here for a while now. Not bad if you want a bargain apartment that's not in a really terrible neighborhood. But...
If you look at the Fiesta Square website, the kitchens are described as "gourmet". What you get is a 20+ year old basic dishwasher, a 25+ year old basic electric stove, and a 10+ year old basic refrigerator (no extras except an icemaker). Maybe that's gourmet in a 3rd world country, but not around here.
Everything in the apartment (including cupboards), is the same shade of almond, and has been painted and re-painted who knows how many times, with hundreds of poorly done wall patches, and runs in the paint everywhere from sheer lack of interest in quality work. They even paint over the cobwebs and spider's egg sacks along the ceilings and the dirt and hair in the drawers in the bathroom and kitchen.
The carpet is very cheap - pieces come up out of it when vacuumed.
Windows are thin and leak like crazy. You can literally feel the breeze and or heat radiating through and around them. Same with sliding glass door. Luckily gas is a set cost so heating cost in winter are not an issue. Buildings are apparently well insulated on the outside because our summer electric bill is not too terrible (never over $110), but its just very uncomfortable around the windows and doors.
Walls are thin. Luckily the setup of the building keeps you from hearing much from the people on each side, but expect to hear quit a bit from the people upstairs.
However, maintenance is done decently and in a fairly timely manner.
