My husband and I have lived here for almost two years. It's fantastic! Ignore the noise complaints. It's near a very convenient freeway intersection, off 69 alt and 119th. No big deal. The rent is so much cheaper than other comparable places - we lived for many years at Kenilworth, and this is a much better deal - because covered parking is included in the rent price, as are FULL size washer and dryer hookups (at our old place, you had to pay for both and the w/d were small stacked unit spaces). At Three Lakes - they just spent lots of time weather-izing the buildings and working on the parking spaces. Always improving the units. There is a good sturdy dishwasher, wood burning fire place, built in book shelves. My biggest positive compliment is that the management is GREAT! Whoever said they aren't is not telling the truth. Every time something needed looking after, little things that break from time to time, they come within the hour. Always fix it, no complaints. We live on the top floor so have a beautiful vaulted ceiling. We never hear our neighbors. Ducks, lakes, trees, lots of storage. Yes, the bedroom is a bit smaller, but that's fine, as there is plenty of closet space. For the price, this is the prettiest, nicest, best managed, best location apartment we have found in Kansas City. Highly recommend. Plus there's a nice pool and work out room included. Have already recommended to my old boss who moved in a few months ago and she loves it too! The management communicates VERY well with the renters by the way. Always letting us know what they're doing and when. WE LOVE IT!
