Kings Cove Apartments
Resident • 2017 Not Recommended
I was actually supposed to move into King's Cove at the end of last month (May 2017). I had done my application, paid my deposit, and was on the final step of doing my walk through of the actual I was moving in the next day. We first walked into the bedroom and my boyfriend pointed out two baby roaches, we then proceeded to the living room, there were two more baby roaches. When we walked in to the kitchen, my boyfriend opened up the drawers and cabinets to check things out, and at that point I knew it was a wrap. It was infested! I swear there were no signs of this when I had previously viewed the property or I would've never signed a lease. They were nice enough to give me the option of moving in at a later date or giving me my deposit back. I did a little more research on the issue and looked at others reviews and sure enough everything was about roaches or rats. Needless to say, I made a decision not to move in because roaches are not something thst can be fixed over night. Here I am a week later, I'm still waiting for my deposit that I have yet to receive and HOMELESS because I had already notified my previous apartments that I was moving. They're supposed to be sending it by mail. Nicole is very sweet and very professional. She tried her hardest to help, however, the other chick in the office got a little snazzy when I called to see if they would be refunding my Application fee as well considering the circumstances. If this isn't resolved soon, I have already considered legal action because this is a MAJOR inconvenience to my life. However I am trying to be patient and allow them a chance to resolve this horrific nightmare. Yes, the apartments are spacious and appear to be nice, but I'd rather be homeless than pay to live in an infested complex. I wouldn't recommend living here!
