Resident 2009 - 2011 Not Recommended
Reviewed 09/09/2011
I've lived at King's Cove for 3-yrs and do NOT RECOMMEND it. If you earn a living wage and can afford it--look elsewhere. It used to be a nice, inexpensive place to live, but lately has become noisier with large families and more than a few middle-aged/creepy welfare deadbeats with their friends that like to hang out here for some reason. As mentioned previously, the building construction is old and getting worse. They recently built a new clubhouse/pool. Meanwhile all the laundry rooms are a disgusting joke with floors covered with leaking water, machines that don't work and stucco/plaster falling off the ceiling and walls. Management is above average in trying to be helpful but are overworked. The main office desk attendant is nice and fluent in spanish, but doesn't seem to understand english very well. My 11-yr old furnished refrigerator went out and it took 3-weeks for maintenance to come by to even look at it, but by then I just decided to buy a new one for the apartment and to start planning to move out as soon as my current lease expires. A little bit more: The office WILL NOT keep or sign for ups/fedex if your not home. Insects/bugs problem about average for apartments and they spray every few months.
