BIG TIME RIP OFF!! DO NOT RENT THERE. IF YOU ASK THEM FOR 1 BEDROOM THEY WILL SAY THAT ALL ARE OCCUPIED (THEY LIE TO CONSUMERS).

I was a resident of East Hampton Estate. I was working for a company and lost my job during my lease period with Hayloft Property Management co. I had to leave the apartment because I couldn t afford $845 a month. It was difficult with 2 kids to afford an expensive apartment. During my stay at Hampton, I reported stains on the carpet in the beginning of my lease and also reported the screen door not working properly. Kim recorded that complaint. In February, 2007 I received a letter from the leasing office that I owe them $1867.57 after deducting my security deposit of $200.
I feel responsible for the January, 2007 rent because I had to break my lease due to unforeseen financial problems but I totally dispute the Cleaning and light bulb, toilet paper roller, blind charges totaling $267.19. They charged me $194.46 to replace the screen door which I called Shareen the manager there and disputed. She told me that it was missing and after a week I called her again and she changed her story to we found it and I will drop that charge which shows how much you can trust them. They charged me $195.07 for light cover which cost $15 and drip pans which was brand new condition when I left only cost $18. They replaced carpet excessive stains for $410.85 which I reported to them and they can verify it with Kim and charged me a late fee of $155.
I have seen several complaints against their billing practice on the internet. Horrible experience with Hayloft/ east hampton estate.
