I moved here in August 2008 and will be moving out at the end of my 12-month lease. The only reason I am moving is because I'm looking for a smaller (possibly studio) apartment where I can save a bit more money each month. Other than that, I found this apartment complex to be very comfortable and conscientious in its care of the tenants. The management were always available to take my calls and maintenance requests. They took care of my requests very quickly and when one was an emergency, they came in to work on it that very day. The decor is dated, I'll admit. The bathroom tub and toilet are an ugly green color, but they're functional and I put much more emphasis on functionality over aesthetic beauty. When I moved in, they replaced the carpet, linoleum, and kitchen appliances. The pool seems to fluctuate in its cleanliness but mostly seems to be well-kept. At first, I didn't feel very safe coming home late at night because some of the outdoor lights weren't working, but I called in about it almost immediately and they did reset the light timers and replace bulbs as necessary. I feel fairly safe here. There are two washer/dryer units in every building and only once was my nearest washer out of order. It was fixed in less than a week. The AC and heater are somewhat loud but not annoyingly so. The neighbors are quiet and friendly, at least as far as my interaction with them has been. They are very pet friendly and I see a variety of dogs often. I will say that this is the only apartment complex I ever heard of that charges you for water. They add $10 onto your rent each month for water and any water expenses above that are paid for by them. They also have a nice discount available for students who sign a 12-month lease, which I took advantage of. All in all, I would continue living here except I want to find a place just a bit cheaper. I do recommend it.
