Great Management!

In case you don't read full reviews let me start with the fact that Teany is an AMAZING manager. She did her absolute best to rectify an absolute nightmare of a situation. Unfortunately, due to the actions of her former employee, I won't be living here now. However, I don't have reservations about living on the property if I need a place to stay in the future. WHAT TEANY DID RIGHT THAT EVERY MANAGER SHOULD DO 1) She was friendly when I called with my complaint. 2) She listened without interruptions and was VERY sympathetic. 3) She didn't get offended and offered to make the situation right. (Unfortunately, I already signed another lease and couldn't assume what would have been my apartment.) 4) She offered to take it to corporate and see if there was other assistance that could be done. 5) She kept up with communication. 6) She is still on friendly terms with me. Because Teany did these things, I am going to visit her property and thank her in person when I get a chance.     Loved living here!

    I lived at Seasons on Chelsea Apartments for about 2 years and loved my experience. I loved the sincere and how conveniently located the property was to everything. Maintenance was very responsive and the office staff was extremely helpful!

      Very happy with our choice to move here.

      We moved in about a month ago. Everything with move in was hassle free, and easy. We love the apartment, the office ladies, and have met some great neighbors. The location of the community couldn’t be better. It is central to Cincinnati, but far enough away, and peaceful.

        Amazing property

        I absolutely love this community! The office staff is amazing, the maintenance staff is quick to fix issues, and the property is gorgeous! I love that I can have my dog in the dog park here anytime! This is one of the nicest apartment communities around

          Great place to live

          I have lived in this neighborhood for five years and One of the things that I love is that it’s in between two really good neighborhoods there’s not a whole Lot of crime. We live in one of the larger homes and we like it. Hard to downgrade from there. Most of the stuff is upgraded in apartments. They have a very responsive maintenance team who even have to work holidays and we’re usually on top of my issue within 10 minutes or so. The office staff Have been here for a really long time and they know what they’re doing. Everyone is pretty friendly. Don’t see myself moving anytime soon

            Wish I could leave a negative star. I decided not to listen to the reviews and moved in anyways. Lived there for two years in two different apartments. Just as many people on these reviews, I did not get a notice of how much I owed after move out. All the prices they tell you on the lease are lies. They are not willing to work with you and charge you for absolutely everything. When we moved in our apartment manager told us that our master bedroom carpet was old and that it was just cleaned and said it would probably need to be replaced after we moved out. I do have a dog so I went to Home Depot and bought vinyl flooring just to put over the carpet that way we didn’t cause anymore damage. Now they are trying to charge us for it. Location wise is great but this apartment complex is not worth your money. Now I’m stuck owing my deposit and another $570 because they obviously don’t go off the list they give you.

              The community and location is great. But none of that means anything when the manager, management, and maintenance was terrible. Management, wont invest money back into the property but will increase every single thing across the board. Managers are poorly trained and if you combine that with just a terrible person overall its a recipe for an unpleasant experience. Its a matter of time before they cross the wrong person and that person will sue them and put them in the news. They show the model bc they know the apartment you’re going to move in to won’t look anything like it. Prepare for water shut offs, office closers , lack of care and moving after one year is done. It’s like a prison sentence renting from here

                I recently visited a relatives apartment. I was repulsed on how horrible the mold was in the apartment. Many attempts to fix plumbing that apparently backs up constantly, has left holes in walls/ceilings. Rodents in walls have chewed through and nothing has been done. There are weeds growing in gutters and the only grounds maintained are the front by leasing office. Trash in every can is over flowing and dog clean up stations never have bags, unless close to leasing office! LOL The trash is rarely picked up and there is always garbage outside of dumpsters. Balconies/patios are atrocious. Anything from animal waste to junk just sitting there for weeks at a time. Discovered how unprofessional these apartments/townhomes are maintained by walking my relatives dog. The location is about the only plus. The several grilling stations have been ruined by use of wrong fuel. All these things should never happen, all the while this place continues to collect a ton of money in rent and never spend any on maintenance… unless close to leasing office! Go Figure!!                   Renter beware! Please avoid this apartment complex at all cost! I have been living at Seasons of Chelsea, since late 2020. This has been the longest year of my life. I've had several leaks in my bathroom ceiling, which has never been checked for mold, even after patching it for the 4th time. Management told me if I was to hire someone that found mold, they will then fix it. They will not check for mold, since apparently, the health of their tenant is not important. I've had flooding outside my front door twice. I was told by maintenance that unless the water encroaches your apartment they will not come to look at it. If anyone interested, I have pictures . The latest is the air conditioning. Earlier this morning I noticed I was extremely hot. The temperature on the thermostat read 80F. I called maintenance to have someone address the air conditioner. I was told that unless it is 85F outside they will not come. These are a few instances I would run from this place. I am planning to get out of here ASAP, once my lease is up. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

                    Do yourself a favor, don't move here. I have had issue after issue since moving in here. Let's start with the "shared" utilities and the "valet" trash. You still have to pay your electric bill, but you also get to pay the shared and valet trash. The valet trash costs more than homeowners pay for trash pick up. Gaping hole in my sliding glass door when i moved in, no door handles inside or out. Took 3 months to fix the hole still no door handle inside. August upstairs tenant floods bathroom into my apartment. Now every time they walk, every step they take causes squeaking and creaking noises in my apartment that can be heard above the tv, that guests have commented on. Management and owners decided this wasn't excessive noise to live with, basically told me I was lying about the loudness of it. Then send me a letter saying, hey sign this lease now and we won't increase your "shared" utility bill. We will increase your rent.                         I would not recommend this complex, they are money hungry. I have had mold issues, roaches, my place needed fumigation and had to leave my place multiple times to get rid of the bugs. They wanted me to leave over my dog yet all dogs there all barked and I had proof said they were going to evict me if I didn't get rid of my service dog, so I moved out, they wanted 2500.00 in order to start the paper work then it was the keys so I got an attorney to send it to them and represent me. I moved out of my place after Thanksgiving and turned off the electric by the end of the month. Got emails even after I said I had an attorney and was being harassed for weeks got told I was going to be evicted after already moving out before December if they didn't get the keys yet knows I had an attorney and would be charged for December if they didn't get the keys!                           This is the absolute worst place I have ever lived in. Hands down these people are scamers. They will keep hitting you with fee after fee, bleeding you dry. I have a boyfriend who comes over often and the maintenance reported "male belongings" in my apartment. Next thing you know I am forced to add him to the lease or face eviction. So i pay the $50 because it seems like I have no choice and I don't here from them at all. Meanwhile I'm getting the letters that address us both and his name is even listed on their website. When it comes time to renew my lease Ashley tells me that she called and TALKED to me saying that my boyfriend can't be on the lease and was denied. Lied straight to my face and then removed his name from the website. Good thing I still have all the letters addressing us both and screenshots of the website before she removed his, proving that they are shady and will falsify documents to save their own asses. I'm in contact with a tenant lawyer now to see what can be done. And thats just the tip of the iceberg.

                            I was in desperate need of an apartment for my sister or I never would've gone to Seasons on Chelsea. There's a $100 application fee and a $150 Admin fee to start with. One time when I paid the rent thru Rent Cafe (which is the way they want you paying the rent). I paid on Friday the 1st of the month. Unfortunately for me that weekend was a long weekend and they claimed not to have received the payment until Tuesday the 5th and charged me a Late Fee. I argued that I had paid it on the 1st the way they wanted it paid and we had until the 5th to pay anyway. They said it has to be in their office BEFORE the 5th and wouldn't take the late fee off. While I was cleaning the apartment to move out, I went to clean the oven, which I had used exactly 2 times while I lived there, and I noticed the lower oven rack had a wire connecting it and the heating element.                                   This place is a polished turd, like a pig with lipstick. Staff is not trained by Monarch to provide customer service. I don't even think they train staff on Maint or best business practices. It's definitely an investment company that is only concerned about profit & couldn't care less about resident satisfaction. So don't expect to get any help thru regional or corporate office when you have issues with staff- they always redirect to property manager.

                                    This company has zero customer service. Monarch upper management said that I would be in "legal peril" if I kept leaving bad reviews about Seasons on Chelsea. It's important for me to express what our experience with this company & apt complex. Most maintenance work orders took at least twice for minimal repair. We had leaks, water damage, roaches from neighbors, broken freezer & other maintenance issues within 12 month lease. We were served an eviction notice for a small balance that was due; even though they accepted full rent from us. Upon move out, they charged us $520 in cleaning/damages. The following charges were applied to our account: $100 painting; $25 garbage removal; $100 carpet clean (carpet in only two bedrooms); $195 cleaning fee; $100 damages (mini-blind replacement & 4 vertical blinds). We did not clean the oven, change the drip pans, clean fridge & left 12 pack of drinks, 4-5 frozen vegetables & container of light bulbs in the kitchen.                                       Too much money for lack of quality & customer service. Please look at Village Green or North American Property leasing companies. MAJOR issues like dirty, stinky common areas/hallways (our apt bathrooms & bedrooms smell like cigarette smoke from downstairs neighbors); leaks from holes in roof that are just patched; insect problems like ROACHES & gnats. Late for electrical inspection & electrical projects around property. Old plumbing & shared water heater (takes 15+ minutes to get hot bath or shower). Can see mildew growing on exterior of backside of buildings w/water view. Missing siding on buildings, even one where there's fitness center & "clubhouse." Haphazardly Renovated apt with cosmetic issues like vertical blind slats breaking, shower & closet doors falling off track, fronts of kitchen drawers falling off. Water shutoff's where residents have gone without water for several days. Offered 20 ounce bottled water during office hours (takes 1.5 gallons to make toilet flush) & offered $0.83/day discount for inconvenience, which hardly compensates for inconvenience.                                             Year lease expires in April & we are considering paying the lease buy out if find house sooner. Have had multiple issues since move. Grounds & common areas of buildings are not well-kept. Turnover in maintenance & seem to be short staffed. Have had cosmetic probs like closet doors & shower doors falling of track, as well as major issues like water leaks from roof holes to cockroaches & gnats. The pest company said at least two other apartments have same insect problems & management won't end Valet Trash Service that has to be contributing factor. Neighbors will leave 1-3 bags of trash outside their doors at least twice a week; it stinks and attracts bugs. Plus, it costs $25/month in addition to rent; required to pay it & we walk our trash to dumpsters. Over priced for lack of customer service. You can find much better for same price in same area.

                                              I liked the older staff a lot. The new staff is somewhat reasonable at times but they are hypocrites and not entirely law abiding either. I've seen so much mold, some people can have fatal reactions to mold. They should fix it before they get reported to the health department.

                                                I lived in this community 10 years prior and didn't realize that I was applying to the same place under new ownership, otherwise I would have never done so. I was told I would be living close to the entrance and instead was put in the far back, where there are no street lights or sidewalks, with terrible potholes to even get into my parking lot. Maintenance is terrible at coordinating or responding, there are 'inspections' every month, the notifications for which are left on the floor in font of my door (1ft away from falling into the streets). I have been here 9 months and have had this valet trash removal done 3 times, yet I've paid $225?! This place is a rip off that gives you no answers and only cares that you give them money (that they waste instead of fixing the property). Will be moving once I can find a better place closer to work, so I can walk there safely once more rather than trudging through a tree lined black road where not even a car can see me.

                                                  This place is terrible and I would caution anyone from trying to rent here. They treat their residents terribly. The office staff is rude and will lie by omission constantly then simply claim everything is cite corporate policy as for the reason they didn't share things.
