After looking through all of the apartments in the area, my roommate and I decided on Hampton Farms. Being students, we loved the location right next to NKU. (It was about a 15 minute walk to the center of campus.) We had no issues with the apartment itself; it was very clean and everything was working as intended. Parking: There were always available parking spaces in front of the building, except for whenever we came home with groceries. Figures... Finding a spot was never an issue, however. Noise: We could occasionally hear the neighbors partying next door. Grounds: I appreciated that the buildings weren't cramped together, it makes the place feel more open. The exterior of the buildings near the office were begging for new siding, but if I remember correctly, they were in the process of re-siding all the buildings. The foliage along the sidewalks was kept trimmed and neat. The pools are open pretty late, and there are stationary charcoal grills and picnic tables nearby. Maintenance: The maintenance guys were Johnny on the spot the few times we needed something fixed. The air conditioner froze up after running for several days straight and was fixed within an hour of notifying the office. Staff: The office staff was very friendly and helpful. I have no complaints.
