Resident 2020

11/20/2020

If you take away one thing from this review, DON'T LIVE HERE! It seemed fine at first, but the issues piled up and piled up to the point that I can't believe they think they can charge this much for what they're giving you. Issue #1- parking. I am a female living in a one bedroom, and I often have to park far away and walk to my apartment a ways because guests keep parking in resident parking. Also, I am paying twice as much to live here as anyone else in the 2 or 4 bedrooms, so I deserve a reserved spot in front of my building. Issue #2- rent. The rent for this place is EXCESSIVE. You can do much better for $1,000/ month. The floors are banged up, my sink's been broken since I got here and they make no effort to fix it, the appliances are ----, my cabinets/doors have been chewed up by dogs, the paint has hair in it, the carpet is actually disgusting (I've found spiders in it because it's long thick carpet), and the insulation is super thin. You add all of these issues together and you start to wonder how they justify charging that much. Issue #3- safety. Don't be fooled by the gates. They let anyone in, and stay open during the day. I've seen sketchy people just walking around the complex and looking into people's cars. I saw a guy in my building do a drug deal. Also, homeless people try to set up camp behind the buildings. I don't feel safe. I've seen sketchy people trying to sex traffic women living alone as well. Issue #4- management. This property is managed horrendously. They don't respond and when they do, they act like you're somehow the issue. They're lazy and rude. Issue #5- bugs. I can't tell you how many bugs I've found in my apartment. Not to mention the fact that I sprayed for bugs with my own equipment bought with personal money and they still come in. Issue #6- wifi. They make you buy your own router and leave you to figure out on your own how to set up the internet. It took me a month and several phone calls with IT people, so be warned. In conclusion, don't live here. I wouldn't live here even if it were $400/ month. It's a ---- hole. I leave my apartment just because I don't want to be there.
