Dear Anonymous- thank you for sharing your comments concerning your stay with us. It is important to hear when residents are satisfied and when they are not satisfied. We take every review to heart. I agree it is important to know the location of your apartment home so you are satisfied with its location. My staff is always happy to drive residents to the location of their apartment or provide a property map to fully inform all new residents the location of their new home prior to move in. The residents who were affected by the plumbing project were offered the option to stay at the Marriott Residence Inn or receive rent abatement for the period of time they were displaced. I am sorry you were not satisfied with the communication regarding the project. When a resident vacates an apartment we follow our standard process if there is any indication of pet urine damage to the carpet. Every resident has the right to be present for the move out inspection. If there is any indication of pet the person completing the move out inspection pulls the carpet back in front of the resident show they are present to the urine stains that may be found on the back of the carpet. A third party specialist verifies the pet urine. If it is positive for pet urine the subfloor is sealed and new flooring is installed. We would not expect you to have moved in on carpet that contained pet urine nor will we allow the next resident to do so. The past resident is charged the depreciated value of the carpet. Thank you for your kind words regarding our maintenance staff. We try to resolve everyone's maintenance issues with a 48 hour time period. We offer 24 hour emergency maintenance. I will share your comment regarding the maintenance staff with my team. We love to see our residents come in for complimentary Starbucks coffee, water and snack at any time. Dear Anonymous- I am sorry you feel the way you do. I can assure you everyone associated with Park Place Apartments takes extreme pride in the upkeep of our property. The community was developed in the late 80s and the counter tops are laminate. They are a very durable surface however if necessary they are replaced when they do not meet NTS Development Company's highest quality standard. If there is an issue I can assist you with I would happy to do so. Wow, to say you love living here means the world to me! There are many choices in Lexington and I appreciate you chose us for your home. I'm glad you are enjoying the amenities our community has to offer. The pool in the summertime feels like a resort. You will have the two stainless steel gas grills, marble bar top seating underneath the spacious gazebo, table tennis, and covered cabana to enjoy at your leisure. The renovations in the 24 hour a day fitness facility are so exciting! We just received a new dumbbell set, a new elliptical machine is on its way, and we are converting the racquetball court to a Fitness on Demand Studio. I'm sorry you feel we were unfair when assessing move out damages. We encourage all residents to be present for move out inspections so they are able to see what damages they are responsible for and why. We understand that normal wear and tear occurs, therefore we only charge residents for damages that are beyond that condition. If you would like to discuss those charges in detail, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at your earliest convenience. You mentioned you experienced pests during your stay with us. I'm surprised to hear this since OPC Pest Control comes to the property weekly to perform inspections and provide necessary treatments when residents notify us of a need for service. I'm also surprised to hear you mention any issues with mold. We take those very seriously and have protocols that we follow as soon as we are notified about a potential moisture problem. It is disappointing to hear that a resident would not recommend our community when we strive to provide the best living experience possible. We take safety concerns very seriously and always advise residents to contact the police if they notice anything unusual or suspicious. We strive to provide the best customer service to our residents and that includes maintaining a safe community.
