Please do not make the mistake I made! I was distracted by the lovely setting and took the manager's word (or lack thereof) that this would be the quiet place I was looking for. Only after I moved in did I realize that all the floor boards below my feet and over my head were loose and that they squeaked and popped with every footstep. A cat couldn't have walked across the floor above me without making noise.
When I discovered the issue, I didn't even hang pictures or unpack everything. I just gritted my teeth and waited out the lease.
Even worse than the noise were the EXHORBITANT ELECTRIC BILLS! I paid two to three times as much as I had at my last apartment which was comparable size and ground floor location with the same sliding glass patio door.
Obviously the problem was the lack of insulation to muffle the noise and to keep in the heat in winter and cool air in summer. As proof of that lack, there were at least 30 apartments that had frozen pipes and water problems during the recent cold weather.
It's not worth it! Keep looking!
