Don't rent from here if you care about your quality of life. When I first moved in, there were cockroaches and the staff claimed they didn't know anything about it and took them over a week to send an exterminator. Gross! We didn't stay there the first 3 weeks of renting and The Meadows wouldn't even work with us on rent--I don't want to have to pay for somewhere if I can't stay there due to unlivable conditions...how is that my fault? Our carpet was so stained and they didn't even bat an eye towards it--I don't even walk barefoot in my own apartment because I am so disgusted by it's filth. The washer and dryer don't clean or dry your clothes and thanks to my lovely neighbors below me, their cigarette smoke funnels up and makes my "clean, freshly-washed" clothes smell like an old hotel room. Perfect. I love smelling cigarettes on my clothes and all throughout my apartment. Maybe The Meadows will replace all my clothes for not enforcing a non-smoking rule and causing clothes to be ruined. Speaking of neighbors, the walls/floors are paper thin. I'm on the 3rd floor and can hear the people on the first. Something is wrong with that. Any time I have had a complaint, nobody has helped or gone so far as to say they were sorry. What is the point of having a staff if they cannot even complete the simplest of tasks, i.e. follow up on a maintenance request. I don't know how many times I have put in a maintenance request. I put one in over a year ago that was never completed. I finally got tired of calling and gave up on the issue. Every time I ask why it hasn't been completed I hear the line "It's been a busy week. We've had HVAC units break and some drains leaking." You seriously expect me to buy that for the 100th time? A perk of apartment living is that they fix what is broken. Shame on you Meadows for priding yourself on Award Winning Customer Service. Can't wait to read the same response you send everyone else on this review.
