Shadeland at Crescent was just as the title says. Not the best of experiences. Parking: Parking is adequate, there are about 40 parking spots in front and back and street parking, however, parking in the back is a little scary as you have to walk through a dark alley way to get to the front, very poorly lit! Noise: Noise is a serious issue. I can hear just about everything my neighbors are doing, down to their conversations in bed when I'm laying my head down at night...and more when they're in the mood. It's a little disturbing! Grounds: I wont deny that the grounds are very attractive, everything looks nice. Safety: I have never had anything happen to me personally, but a friend of mine stayed one night and her car was broken into. The GPS and stereo were taken and the window was shattered. Construction: Ongoing...due to poor ventilation the smell of paint from other apartments being renovated overpowers my home. Maintenance:Serious issues here, I have had multiple problems that I have reported to the manager and maintenance up to my window falling out...it was unfortunately never taken care of but the manager was willing to compensate on rent for the problems. Staff: Friendly but slow to respond to issues. However, very willing to work with you once you get to boiling level. Overall I would say look around for something else. This was regretfully a bad experience for myself and my significant other but there are others who have had a great time living here. The grounds are beautiful and the area is nice, straight shot to the college stadium and parking, close to just about everything. Horribly overpriced for the square footage despite the renovations. There's a lot of work that needs to be done here...and no one seems willing to do it. Be firm with your issues and be prepared to spend a lot of dough on a small space!
