When I first visited, my encounter with the office staff was not pleasant but I was looking for a place to live. These apartments are located in the Meadowthorpe neighborhood. This is an older community and I would describe it as fairly safe and quiet. They offer 3 choices 1 bedroom Apartment/1Ba (750 Sq.Ft) $500 (1 year lease) $520 (6 month lease) $300 Deposit (1-2 People) 2 bedroom Apartment/2Ba (950 Sq. Ft) $600 (1 year lease) $620 (6 month lease) $400 Deposit (1-2 People) and 2 bedroom townhouse(1,050 Sq.Ft) $650 (1 year lease) $670 (6 month lease) $400 Deposit (1-2 People). You have to have at least a credit score of 600 to qualify.
This is a gated community so you would have a electronic opener to operate the gate. Located by the office is the laundry facility which is clean and costs $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry, the 24 hour exercise room which is small and quiet then right outside of that would be the walk in pool that goes to 5 ft. Policy only allows 2 non resident guest to the pool with you. These apartments were probably considered luxury when the were first built but now they are outdated but are well maintained. Cleanliness would be a quality of these apartments. The apartments are carpeted with decent closet space, small kitchen with lots of cabinet storage and dishwasher. These apartments are really quiet. There is a large population of Indian people. My apartment smelled like Indian food for awhile. In the summer time you may smell that sewer odor that seems to linger on Leestown Rd.
Now the office staff seem to be very particular about whom they allow to move in. I think they rely heavily on their Indian population referrals and that's why they don't advertise. I wouldn't say that they don't like kids because there are a lot of kids and pregnant women there. They don't appear to be people persons or to display professionalism. But overall don't allow that to stop you from inquiring because these apartment are well priced, clean, safe, quiet, well located and well maintained.
