A fine place, a fine apartment. Well within strolling distance of upper Jeffersontown (such as for the Gaslight Festival). They raised my rent about $20 a year, claiming maintenance and water costs were higher. Supposedly water costs were higher because more units were occupied, which suggests they were operating on a faulty financial model. (More likely, they increased rent because local values had risen.) Furthermore, once I finally moved out, I paid my refurbishing costs and left. Six months later, they sent me a bill for the same costs. I confirmed by looking at my bank account online that the initial check had been received and cashed. I called the office and was told, coldly, it was simply a mistake (that could have cost me $250). When I requested a letter of apology -- as compensation for my anxiety and lost time -- I received nothing. In my experience, the office staff is friendly when things are running smoothly, but cold and misleading once confronted.
