1. Drug dealing - 21 year kid was arrested in August/2018 after dope he was selling from his car in the parking lot killed someone he sold it to. Police found a kilo of heroin in the apartment at time of arrest. So much for verifying sources of income. 2. Parking - Wasted space for garages that are only rented because they were included as concessions. Nobody was renting them otherwise. 3. Parking - As a result of #1 - people create parking in front of buildings, going so far as to put traffic cones in FRONT of their apartment so others don't use their created parking spot that isn't striped for parking. Difficult to park or get out of striped spots as a result. 4. Parking - Good luck finding a spot anywhere near your building after 6pm. Often have to park nowhere near the building you live in. 5. Horribly constructed units. For this amount of money, you would have thought they would have put concrete or other insulator between the floors to minimize noise between the floors. Nope. You hear every footstep of your upstairs neighbor - so don't rent ground floor units. 6. Plumbing - pipes rattle when flushing toilets or running sinks, or doing anything using water. 7. Maintenance - Have two maintenance guys who seemingly have to work on everything together, pay two people to do one job. 8. Maintenance Requests - Will close without notification saying "work complete" and no evidence of them being in the apartment. Submitted a ticket because a previous issue happened again and they closed it because, and I quote, "we fixed it before". 9. Had a noisy appliance they refused to address. Had to call during business hours when the noise happened so they could hear it. NO weekend maintenance, good luck if you're not home during THEIR business hours. 10. Safety lights between buildings are insanely bright. Will need curtains because the blinds will not be enough to let you fall asleep. 11. Kitchen is oddly designed, at least in my unit. 12. Front office, it's seems if you don't kiss their --- you go in a pay-no-mind folder and they won't call back or even handle your issues. And since they close work items without doing anything, you're pretty much stuck with whatever state your apartment was in at time of moving in. 13. Dumpster is overflowing at least twice a week, garbage piled all around the compactor compound - really nice smells coming from it in the summer months of Kentucky. Positive: 1. Include washer and dryer. I'm sure it's a matter of time they'll start charging for those. 2. Aside from kitchen - open layout. 3. Lots of closet space 4. Pro/Con depending on your preference - only internet/TV provider is AT&T U-Verse with 1GB service. 5. Trash service, but it only runs S-Th.
