Glen Hollow Apartments

We have lived in a one bedroom apartment at the Glen Hollow Apartments for almost a year now. They are nice apartments for the price, and the neighbors are very nice. Mostly older people, very few younger people or people with children. Sometimes the parking situation can be ugly when there are guests visiting, but you never have to walk very far to get to your apartment.

There is a laundry room in the basement, along with storage for each unit. I think that is a nice touch. The a/c is watercooled which we've had a great deal of trouble with this past summer. But it differs from apartment to apartment. The heat works fine. We've found that the walls are a little bit thin and sometimes if not ancored properly your pictures/wall hangings could fall out. But again, it probably differs from apartment to apartment.

The maintenance here is typically speedy. Anytime I've had a problem they get here quickly, and usually fix the problem the first time. They check for bugs often, although we have never had a bug problem. They are also pet friendly, which is nice. You have to pay a seperate deposit for animals and $15 extra a month for larger pets (dogs and cats) but it's not too big a deal because their prices are decent.

The apartment is spacious with large closests (which is nice if you're a girl!) Overall, for the price, you're getting a great deal. Things might not be perfect all the time, but for the most part, we've had an uneventful stay in the Glen Hollow Apartments.
