Station House Square Apartments
Resident · 2018 - 2019
I took over a lease for a friend in the summer of 2018 and am moving to a new apartment at the end of this summer, in 2019. I would not recommend living here based on my year of experience. My apartment did not have any major maintenance issues, so I cannot speak for the timeliness and quality of the maintenance staff. However, a good friend that lived in the same floor plan one building away had major pest issues, including mice and birds entering the building. They dealt with this issue for more than a year with occasional visits from maintenance to spray for bugs. The building management is very lackluster and unresponsive to request via email and phone call. There is no way to contact any one in case of an emergency during non-business hours, including on Saturday and Sunday. There is supposedly a courtesy officer, but no one knows how to contact them. The amenities listed on the website are inaccurate. Here is a list of what is offered: a clubhouse with tv, couches, and computers with access to print (if there is ink in the printer, which there rarely is), a gym (with a few working pieces of equipment), washer and dryers for studio apartments only, a small pool (with lounge chairs that are mostly broken and access is restricted from 10-8 AND whenever they remember to unlock the doors), and they occasionally have muffins or donuts available. The website lies and the community mangers will lie about the quality of the apartments. They need renovations and serious replacements, which they will not do before the next tenant complains about it. If you want a small apartment with virtually no kitchen, a pool you can use once a week (maybe), management that doesn't respond or care about your request or complaints, and residents that do not clean up after their pets, this is definitely the place for you.
