Marx Cromer Warehouse Flats/Creekwood Flats
Resident • 2007 Not Recommended
I signed a lease to move in on October 1st. The building hadn't yet passed inspection at that point, so I couldn't move in until mid-October. My hot water didn't work correctly for a week. Now I've been here for over a month, and while I love my actual apartment, there are still things that haven't been completed. We're STILL not receiving mail and the front security gate doesn't work, among other things. I understand that this is a new building, but they've had months to figure these things out. The management is not being understanding of the residents here and they continue to charge us a full month's rent even though they're not holding up their own end of the deal. Hopefully Middle Earth will realize that it's bad business to charge full price for sub-par amentities. The actual units are fantastic - they're beautifully done and well-designed. I would recommend living here, but not until after the first of the year. Hopefully the construction will be done by then and the issues will be resolved.
