Marx Cromer Warehouse Flats/Creekwood Flats
Resident • 2008 - 2009 Not Recommended
I have lived in Marx Cromer for over a year now and am quite ready to move. The garbage is not taken out regularly enough to keep from smelling. When someone spills food on the ground and is not mature enough to pick it up themselves, the food will remain on the ground for weeks. Parking is nearly impossible in the lot and if you do manage to get a space in the lot your car will more than likely be door dinged as the spaces are far too small. My car has been towed for forgetting to put the parking pass in my window yet other cars remain there for DAYS with no pass. Why ask for the make/model/year/license number for my car if you are not going to give this information to the towing company as a double check? Before moving in I was told electric ran about $90/month in the Winter. I had two $300 electric bills last Winter until I decided to suck it up and freeze. The walls are paper thin, I can hear my neighbors coughing, sneezing, making dinner, you name it, I can hear it. I love the interior design and layout of my apartment even though there are a few cosmetic issues that were never fixed by the landlord. Someone on my floor who just moved in has a bird that chirps at all hours of the day and night. The pet agreement says cats only but when I called MiddleEarth I was informed birds were looked at the same as fish and were allowed. I've never heard a fish make such obnoxious noises in my life. I have two fish and I'm quite positive my neighbors have no idea they're there. It can be very difficult to get a hold of someone at MiddleEarth but lately they have been doing better. Very close to bars/nightlife which can be good and bad at times.
