If you live in Alexandria then you know that the apartments there are few and far between. You either have a lot of money to stay in one of the newer places or stay in the not so wonderful apartments. But this place seems to be a very good middle. The staff was helpful, repairs were made (although I never needed any repairs. The lady below me did due to my tub leaking unbeknownst to me), they allow pets, and the rent was fair for what you get (I paid $690 including my pet rent). Even though they had a designated pet area, people didn't clean up after their pets (but that's a tenant issue, not really the apartment's fault) and that was annoying but the grounds keeper did a good job of cleaning up all the stray feces. Nice neighbors, safe environment, good space, and quiet! The stove was not BRAND new but worked more than well for what I needed. Never saw one bug in my apartment. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for something not too expensive but still nice. Only reason why I couldn't give this a five star was because they do "random" inspections and they just bust in using the key if you don't answer and they did that while I was in the shower, I don't care for people busting into a place I'm paying for (That's apartment life I guess). Awkward moment....but they only did one inspection the entire year I stayed there.
