Resident 2018 - 2020

9/3/2020

DO NOT be fooled by the pretty pool and other amenities! The staff is great until you sign the lease. Once you do that you are screwed. Once we moved it, it was a dump. The stove was disgusting, the floors were disgusting. It stunk like it had never been cleaned. When we moved in, my bathtub drain was completely clogged. Called maintenance time and time again, they never showed up. Had to fix it myself. When maintenance does show up, it is unannounced which is not permitted according to the lease. Cars are broken into frequently. All the pretty amenities are constantly closed, under repair etc. Office staff is very rude and dismissive. You are greeted by them with eye rolls and irritation. Room mates move in and out, the rooms are NEVER cleaned after move out. The final middle finger salute to me was a move out bill to the tune of $415.00. Was told that it was because I was the final tenant to leave. Tried to dispute it with the assistant manager who first told me it was because I was the last one out. When I asked to see that provision in the lease, her words were pay it or go to collections. Got a follow up email bill with a blurb that all roommates are responsible for the common area repairs. Well during the time I lived there there were 3 other roommates that moved in and out. They were not charged. Finally got to talk to manager who knocked off $80 bucks that I am responsible for which included $135.00 for room painting and $37.50 for bathroom clean. The rest is for the common areas. We were not provided any proof of any "damage" or cleaning and given the state of the unit when we moved in it is never cleaned or painted. To put it bluntly this is extortion Pay it or go to collections. RUN RUN RUN--as someone else said, you have been warned
