I'm a student at LSU and I've lived at this apartment for about 5 years now. Although it's not the most luxurious place you can imagine, it has everything that I needed and wanted. The apartment themselves are actually split in to two complexes, the white buildings, which is where the small one bedrooms and small two bedrooms are, and the red buildings, which has the one and two large bedrooms. I have lived in every unit except for the two small bedrooms. Small One Bedroom: It is spacious enough to fit two twin sized beds in (Therefore, I share it with a roommate). There are also two walk in closets, one full bath, and a big living room and connecting dining area. My only problem with it is that there is no cable connection in the bedroom so if you want to watch tv, you can only do it in the living room. Large One Bedroom: Honestly, even though it's suppose to be bigger, I didn't really feel the difference between this space and the small one bedroom. There are two walk in closets, a full bath, and living room and dining area which are a little more spacious than the small one bedroom. The plus side of this unit is that it is located in the red buidlings which are newer compared to the white ones. There are cable connections in the bedroom and you have the option of having french doors and a balcony. Large Two Bedroom: This unit's name is actually not true. One of the bedroom is actually smaller than the other. I shared this space with three people my freshmen year and it was comfortable for all. One person would get the smaller bedroom and the other two got the bigger one. This unit has three closets (two in the big bedroom and one in the small one), one full bath in the hallway and a half bath that is located in the big bedroom. My experience living here has been great so far. The price is affordable, especially for the size of the living space. There are no loud noises (except if you live in the buildings near Walk-Ons, you may hear some of the music but it's not really that distracting), there are always parking spaces available, and safety has not been any concern for me or my roommates (the parking lot at night is well-lit). It is within walking distance to school (about four minute walk to Patrick F. Taylor Hall) which is a plus! Management has also been great. Mrs. Acosta is a charm and will try to help you with whatever you need. Maintenance has also been very on point with whatever I needed as well. The only thing that I can complain about is that there is a strict no pets policy.
