I sm sure there are parents out there like me 2 years ago worrying about which apartment to place their child. Embassy was our first apartment we looked at and after looking at 5 others, I was hoping my son would pick Embassy. One word sums it up--location, location, location. He was a Finance major so all of his classes were in Patrick Taylor which is a short walk across the street. No need to worry about parking during LSU football or baseball-both are a short walk from the apartment. I was very impressed with the staff-Ms.Marguerite was very nice and attentive to all the needs of the tenants. The apartments are older but there is an abundance of storage space which the newer apartments do not provide. Also, these apartments have a brick veneer which helps insulate the apartments and helps on utility bills. Other reviews complained about roaches, etc.-I can say for the 2.5 years, I never saw any roaches or any evidence of them even when we cleaned out cabinets, etc. when he moved. The apartment complex is very quiet. Laundry facilities are plentiful and several new machines were installed right before we moved out in May. Maintenance was great and same day service when there was a problem. He never had any safety problems but you have to be proactive-lock your car, don't leave valuables out, etc. Overall, Embassy is a great place to live and would highly recommend it! Where else can you walk across the street and see LSU baseball at the Box!
