Alexis Park Apartments is one of the cheapest in town. The front office makes you think it is a lot classier than it is. I was in Afghanistan and was able to do all of the apartment approval/application process via email. Shannon was extremely helpful getting me into my apartment. I am very content with my apartment, especially since I only pay $500 a month. Since I have moved in I have only had a few issues, stove didnt work, fixed immediately, dishwasher stopped working, they ordered me a new one, fridge is broken (door is crooked), sent someone to look at it that evening, even though it still isnt fixed and it has been 2 weeks. The apartments are right near a railroad track, but for some reason, I can barely hear a train coming by when I am inside. The management is very friendly, and they respect the fact that this is your home. There is a problem with the neighborhood kids coming over and using the pool, but the management tries to stop them. I never have any problems finding a parking spot, which is incredible considering there are about 19 building in the complex. I never hear my neighbors, and the guy that lives below me has never complained about my 50 lb dog bouncing around or my surround sound being too loud. There are a few police that live in the apartment complex which always makes me feel very secure. I have lived here for a year now, and plan on continuing to live here. There are a few things that arent perfect, but they are easy to live with. Besides, where else can you get such an incredible price for such a spacious apartment?
