I moved here in order to be close to my new job when I relocated
From out of statel. Ochsner hospital is within walking distance and there is a great bar across
The road. CVS & a local convenience store are nearby too. It's a nice place to start off at but I don't know if I could stay long term. Don't get me wrong, this place is
Excellent for the price: 2br, 1 bath, but some
Residents are just loud and obnoxious. It has a bit of a bug problem too
But I've heard that is expected anywhere in Nola
. The office staff are awesome
And actually listen to what you have to say. Any maitenence issues are completed within at least 3 days but most of
The time my issues were adressed and repaired the same day. I would recommend asking for a 2nd or 3rd floor in order to be with the long term residents who have families and are genuinely nice. I lived on the first floor and noticed some questionable stuff but nothing too serious. I actually feel very safe walking to the bar and cornerstore at night. I'm moving out bc my lease has ended n my time in Jeff parish is over but I'll always appreciate Levee Run. Its just what you Need if you're on a budget but don't want to get ripped off. Cool place, nice people, good staff, good deal for your $ in my opinion. Also might add no rent was ever raised during my stay and they allowed my family and pets to visit for short periods of time.
Also, ask for the apartment manager Ann. Lol She is fine!! Ann holler at me sometime before I move out @ the end of November!!! Seriously lol
