I moved in Dec 2003. Walked in and the apartment was FILTHY. Big red stain in the second bedroom, grate in the ceiling of bathroom (where the heating unit is)had fallen down and their was black soot and lord knows what else all over the guest bath. Tile peeling from around the tub and vanity. Appliances are so dated so they make noise, microwave rusted out, trash compactor doesn't even work. No heat. It's Decemember, of course we need heat! Office says they are sorry, the filth was a "miscommunication" between leasing office and maintenance. Roaches everywhere, they even crawl up your steps outside. Wasps get in through cracks in the windows that they won't seal. In the summer my apartment remained at 85 degrees or more. Call maintenance they tell me the coil is frozen on the unit. They put freeon in it and tell me to turn the unit off for 30 min to let it unfreeze. Obviously it's leaking why not get it fixed! My electric bill was at least $135.00 every month because the air conditioner never shut off. No hot water in the kitchen. I was told the pilot goes out in the boiler room every time they walk in. The exercise room? They knocked down the walls in a downstairs apartment, painted it and put a few cheap excercise machines. Nobody cleans it and there are holes in the walls. The person who stays in the apartment behind the "excercise facility" bangs on the wall constantly because the noise from those working out keeps them awake. I could go on but the bottom line is DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND BE FOOLED BY BEING NEXT TO THE MALL!!!
