I'be been living at the Crescent Apts at River Ranch for 9 or 10 months now, and I really enjoy living here. It is a beautiful complex in a VERY nice and luxurious area. The apartment is very well insulated which keeps energy costs down (most months) and keeps noise to a minimum. My only noise complaint is the slamming security door (right next to my bedroom). It woke me up for the first few days before I got used to it, and it is quite loud. I have found the staff to be helpful and mostly friendly. My neighbors are generally either young professionals or retirees, so it's generally a quiet lot. The neighborhood is extremely safe - I would feel perfectly fine if I remembered while at work that I had forgotten to lock my doors. There are concerts on Thursdays on the nearby town square (about a block away) during the summer months, so this is exciting and noisy, though they are usually over by 9:30 or 10 I think. There have also been art exhibits, 5k runs, and other community events in the square since I've been there, so it's an interesting place to live. There is a coffee shop about 100 yards from my front door, which is VERY convenient.
