RE: Overcharge of App Fee / 2nd Notice
Terrace Management,
On July 15th I used my debit card to pay for an application fee. When I spoke to the manager (Angel), she said that she would put the $45.00 charge on my card since I was working and unable to come into the office. She never once spoke of any surcharges I would incur while using my card. The next day I noticed that a charge in the amount of $ 69.50 was placed on my card. When I called to question her about the unfair fee, she said Look, I declined your application and threw it in the garbage too bad . The actions of Angel and the Terraces Management was predatory and illegal. Based on the agreement I signed, my card should have actually been charged $ 47.35 instead of $ 67.95. I expect a prompt refund in the amount of $ 20.60 to be retuned to me immediately.
