Beautiful place...long long long time ago
This place got some nice designs and features back when it was built in the 1970's but now it's falling apart. The only places that they kept up to speed is the leasing office and may be the front entrance. To make it worse, they now accept Section 8 tenants and you can tell by the type of people that it attracted right the way. Loud cars, loud people, loud music, people loitering in front of apartments all the time...etc. To make it worse, there was a spree of burglaries recently, my next door neighbor got broken into twice in ONE week, my upstairs neighbor got broken into once as well. The thief did get caught, and my neighbors have moved out ever since, but now my new neighbors are extremely noisy, unfriendly and just the other day, there was a guy sitting on the stairs outside my door with a big bag of weed actually repackaging it into smaller packages. So now there are drug dealers in this place. The manager will tell you there are police officers living in this place and how it's improving, but she also told me how there were 2 officers living here and how safe it was to me when I first moved in. To be fair, it was relatively peaceful when I first moved in even though it was nothing special, and the facilities were falling apart, but it was livable and in a neighborhood that I didn't have to worry about my own safety. I could go on trips for weeks without worrying about my apartment would be emptied when I come back. It only went downhill about 1/2 year ago, my guess is that that's when they started to accept section 8 tenants. If you can find some where else, stay away from this place.Share This Review
